Carlisle Bay Antigua To Reopen on Saturday 10th October
Looks like Covid-19 Is finally giving the world a break and allowing Antigua to open up to visitors again. Which mean that Carlisle Bay Antigua will soon re-open its doors as well, on the 10th of October to be precise, and we cannot wait to welcome guests back again! You might be wondering if you need to take any extra precautions when travelling to Carlisle Bay. Do not worry, we have taken them for you.

At Carlisle Bay we wanted to offer our visitors reassurance and peace of mind; that is why we have created a programme of measures that we have named ‘A New Clean’, in line with current Government guidelines. The new programme will focus on cleanliness that will be visible to guests throughout their entire stay. Some of these new measures include the rearrangement of furniture to ensure social distancing; the availability of hand sanitising stations throughout the resort; speedy check-in and more.

All arriving passengers will be asked to wear an appropriate face covering. Upon arrival to Antigua, Airport Authorities will ask for confirmation of a negative covid-19 test for each guest, taken within seven days of travel. Currently American Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, British Airways, Caribbean Airlines, Inter Caribbean Airlines and Winair are flying from and to Antigua; and very soon Virgin Atlantic, Air Canada and Sunwing will also resume their flights. Guests arriving by sea (private yacht and ferry services) are subject to fourteen days quarantine according to guidelines issued by Port Health Authorities.

Our team have undergone extensive training to prepare themselves for this new environment, so feel free to ask our staff for further information about the measures in place.

Of course, the beauty of Carlisle Bay Antigua will remain the same, as well as the quality of our amenities and services. Carlisle Bay hosts various bars and restaurants, including a number of outdoor dining options for greater comfort. Menus can be checked online, and we are encouraging the use of QR codes to reduce the usage of paper menus. Please note that all dining arrangements, including breakfast, must be pre-booked by filling this form.

Carlisle Bay has designed an extended programming of outdoor activities, so our guests can make the most of their stay in Antigua in a safe manner. The resort is beautifully complemented by the serenity of CARA Organic Spa, as well as a wide choice of superb activities and facilities including nine tennis courts, yoga pavilion, water sports centre, library, and private screening room. Leisure facilities will be available for hotel guests only strictly by appointment. Contact our team to book.

We know that 2020 has been difficult for most and will definitely be remembered for the covid-19 outbreak. But why not remember it also as the year when your dream trip finally became a reality?
